Wendy McDaniels, Founder

Wendy McDaniels is the founder of Maxela Marketing, a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for delivering simple and effective marketing solutions that propel businesses to new heights. With a profound multicultural understanding acquired from nearly a decade of living abroad, Wendy brings a unique perspective to her role as a digital marketer.

With over 12 years of climbing the corporate ladder at a Fortune 500 company, Wendy has honed her skills in fashion, merchandising, and the buying process. But her entrepreneurial spirit extends beyond marketing. Wendy has successfully established multiple brick-and-mortar small business locations, including Local Donut, a vibrant donut shop and café in downtown Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. From creating captivating branding to optimizing the customer experience, Wendy has hands-on experience in all aspects of running a successful business.

In addition to her marketing expertise, Wendy has made significant contributions to her local community. In 2016, she established Local Baja, a community platform that assists locals in navigating their lives in Cabo San Lucas.

Wendy's entrepreneurial pursuits expanded with the creation of Dare to Dough, a consulting agency dedicated to helping restaurant, café, and bakery owners streamline their operations and achieve business success. Through Dare to Dough, Wendy shares her wealth of knowledge and experience to empower fellow entrepreneurs in the food industry.
