About Wendy
I have lived both sides of this work.
Early in my career at Nordstrom, I learned that success rarely depends on tools. It depends on clarity and structure. When expectations are unclear, even strong leaders struggle.
Later, running my own brick-and-mortar business, Local Donut, I experienced that lesson in real time. Without structure, decisions circled back to me. Profit was more fragile than it needed to be. I have expanded, downsized, rebuilt, and learned what holds up under pressure.
Most operational issues are not motivation problems. They are structure problems.
Structure protects profit. It distributes responsibility. It allows capable people to move forward without hesitation and gives the owner space to think instead of react.
I still run a business. I still carry payroll. That perspective shapes the work.
The goal is not to make the business bigger.
It is to make it steadier, simpler, and profitable.

How I Work
My work is practical and structured. We look at what is actually happening inside your business and build systems that hold up under pressure.
This requires honesty and effort. It means documenting what has lived in your head, clarifying ownership, and simplifying what has quietly become complicated.
The result is a business that runs steadier and protects profit without constant supervision.
If that is what you are ready for, we will work well together.
